Red bearberry grows across Siberia, Alaska, and northern Canada east to northern Quebec.  The leaves can be picked, dried, and then made into liquid extracts for a number of medicinal uses.  Picking season is late August to late September in Alaska.  The wild Alaskan blueberry is far superior to cultivated berries.  Edition of 100.
